Video: Firefighter Goes Solo on a Car in LA, Shrugs off Explosion

Video

Los Angeles firefighters are as tough as they come and you can see why in this video.

When you see a car entirely engulfed in flames, you know it's only a matter of time until the gas tank explodes. I know it, you know it, he knows it, everyone knows it. Some brave men just don't care, and this firefighter is a prime example of standing tall in the face of imminent (and certain) danger. This video was shot from someone's balcony in Los Angeles, California. You can see the firefighter prepping his hose and going in solo as soon as he gets his water pressure adjusted.

Without hesitation he starts hosing down the car seconds before you see the explosion. The shockwave packed such a profound punch that even the cameraman was knocked back by it. The firefighter shrugged it off and continued carrying out his duties like a champ. Thanks to Morningstaric for the video.
