That's right. The latest Batmobile was designed by Gordon Murray, who was also behind the McLaren F1 and the T.27 city car, has now turned his attention to a hydrogen fuel cell and lithium-ion battery green-friendly ride. The updated Batmobile, however, will continue to emit fire from its carbon-ceramic afterburner. Although nothing more than a prop for onlookers to gawk at, the Batmobile has already stirred a lot of controversy for its new green-friendly hydrogen fuel cell.
Some of the features include a carbon-fiber trim, LED lights and the aforementioned carbon-ceramic afterburner. The green-friendly Batmobile was revealed ahead of the Batman Live World Arena Tour, which is set to kick off in Manchester, UK on July 19 and should definitely draw plenty of attention.
