When we think of facelifts or revised versions of a car, we normally try to think outside of the box. Hyundai decided to take this concept one step further with a very clever commercial. The commercial comes from the Sydney advertising firm Innocean Worldwide and features the same type of mechanical effects we usually expect to see in a Transformers movie. The commercial begins by showing the compact Elantra in what appears to be either a gymnasium or a bingo hall, slowly getting peeled apart.

At first, the center piece on the ceiling pops open to reveal mechanical arms pulling away the old shell of the Elantra to reveal a slightly altered and smaller version underneath. Have a look for yourselves. Enjoy the video.
