Inspired by Jaguar's one-off sports car the XJ13 and to mark the company's 75th anniversary, the Jaguar C-X75 Concept, unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, has been spotted on the streets of London maneuvering under its electric motor. Built as a plug-in hybrid with four electric motors, one for each wheel, powered by diesel micro-turbines, a total of 780hp and 1,180lb-ft of torque is possible whilst creating ultra-low emissions.

It has recently been announced however, that the car is to be built in a more traditional form with a low mounted petrol engine and one electric motor per axel. 250 models each costing in the region of £800,000 are scheduled to be built with a top speed of over 200mph and 0-62mph time of less than three seconds.
