Bikes on the 'Ring are a bit rare, but this Kawasaki really did a number on the famed German track.
You know when a vehicle is going incredibly fast when the in-bike camera gives off the appearance of a video game. The Kawasaki ZX-10R carried a Gyrocam as it set out on the Nurburgring track and shredded it in a blistering time of 7:50. The production car record for the famous German track was set earlier this week in the Lexus LFA in 7:14, however they had the advantage of four wheels and better handling (not to mention the safety aspect. The bike hit some big speeds you can see how dangerous this was.
Bridgestone test rider and current daredevil Tim Rothig piloted his bike in an incredible time, destroying his set of Battlax tires in the process. Check out the video below to see Rothig risk life and limb while passing the green blurs that the flora of the German track provide as a backdrop to the perilous course.
