The Koenigsegg Agera R is an insanely fast machine. While its competitors include the Pagani Huayra and the Lamborghini Aventador, the Swedish hyper car has now reportedly set several new production car records at the company's proving ground in Angelholm, Sweden. According to the automaker's official press release, "all data was measured and collected by a third party with the officially accepted Racelogic VBox performance recorder."

So without further ado, here are the latest performance numbers: 0-300 km/h (186mph) = 14.53 sec 0-200 mp/h = 17.68 sec 300-0 km/h = 6.66 sec 200-0 mp/h = 7.28 sec 0-300-0 km/h = 21.19 sec 0-200-0 mp/h = 24.96 sec Also note that besides the acceleration times, the Agera R has some amazing braking abilities. For now, only this brief video was made. Koenigsegg is promising to release a new video in the near future showing the Agera R setting those records.

So is it possible that the Agera R is faster than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport? If these numbers are correct, then the Bugatti may have met its match.
