Video: Let’s Go For a Drive in a Porsche Carrera GT

Video

Nothing but a relaxing Sunday drive.

Here's the situation. You're behind the wheel of a Porsche Carrera GT and you have a stretch of highway to take it on. Problem is, there's traffic. So can be done? Weave your way through. In this new video, the driver of one Carrera GT did exactly that and didn't allow for traffic to be in his way while hitting the gas. Powered by a mid-engined 5.7-liter V10 with 604hp and mated to a six-speed manual, it can go from 0 to 62mph in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 205mph.

Only 1,270 units were built from 2004-2006. Production ended due to new U.S. regulations regarding airbags. All told, 604 made their way to the U.S. It had a base price of $440,000 and a delivery charge that went as high as $5,000. And judging by this video and the sound that V10 makes, the Carrera GT is worth every penny.
