Video: Lithuanian Roads are Not Just for Cars

Desperate times call for desperate measures, or so it seems in Lithuania.

A once quaint suburban road has been permanently scarred by local authorities, who have apparently taken the unanimous decision to plant a series of electricity pylons straight into the tarmac.

Perhaps there wasn't enough cable to go around, or just as likely they felt motorists would be nonplussed at having to dodge 20-foot poles en route to the local train station. Either way Lithuanians see the funny side to this blight on their nation's landscape and we must applaud them for their apathy.
