Porsche has just released a great video of the next generation 911 undergoing final testing in South Africa. We know the new car will have a longer wheelbase over the previous generation. Part of the reason why? It will be needed to provide the extra space for a future hybrid trim that will arrive in about four years (for the car's mid-cycle refresh). More importantly, the new car looks sleeker than the outgoing model thanks to the extended wheel base and a lowered roofline.

This new video is part of the hype the German automaker is creating ahead of the car's official public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September. Also in the video is the exhaust note coming from either the 3.4-liter 350hp engine that will power the base Carrera or the 3.8-liter flat-six with 400hp in the Carrera S. Enjoy.
