There's no better place to thrash a car than the world-famous Nurburgring race track, and there's (pretty much) no better sports car to thrash than the Nissan GT-R.

Those that can afford a GT-R (around $90,000) and that live in the vicinity, say France, Switzerland or the Czech Republic, should have a trip to Nordschleife firmly fixed in their thoughts. Until then, the full extent of the supercar killer's 530hp 3.8-liter V6, capable of 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds and a 196mph top speed, will never be fully appreciated. This video, courtesy of CvdZijden, is a compilation of Nissan GT-R models doing the rounds on the world-famous German circuit over the past year. Enjoy.
