Ahead of the car's official unveiling at the New York Auto Show, Nissan has released the last in a series of teasers of its all-new 2013 Altima sedan. At last we get to see the car in its entirety, albeit momentarily, and from the quick shot it's already clear the new Altima is looking more athletic than its predecessor, with a stylish front fascia and steep D-pillar arc. At the rear, a bulging rump can be seen on the trunk lid.

As for the interior, Nissan point out that the instrument cluster of the new model will feature a "new Advanced Drive-Assist Display designed to keep the driver focused on the road." There also appears to be steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.

The 2013 Altima also comes with advanced safety features including lane departure warning, rear moving object detection, and blind spot warning, which all operate via an innovative single rear camera.
