Porsche has just released another video of the new 2012 911 just ahead of its official debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show. Although the video is brief, this is our first glimpse of the newly revealed car driving on public roads. We can also hear the car's engine quite well (despite the background music). Porsche is working hard to increase the hype of what we think is the best-looking 911 so far. The base Carrera is powered by a 3.4-liter flat six with 350hp while the Carrera S has a 3.8-liter unit with 400hp.

Each can be mated to either a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox or a seven-speed manual. Top speed for the 911 Carrera S and Carrera is 188 mph and 179 mph, respectively. We'll have more details from Frankfurt in just a few weeks.
