Team Hot Wheels certainly has something to celebrate. So does professional stunt driver and American Top Gear host Tanner Foust. At yesterday's Indy 500, the three-time X Games gold medalist and two-time Formula Drift champion smashed the previous ramp-to-ramp distance jump record by 31 feet. Event spectators watched anxiously as Foust, whose identity remained a mystery, drive down a 90 ft. ramp that was suspended on a 10-story high (100 feet) door.
He then flew 332 feet through the air over the infield of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Immediately after the stunt was completed with a new record set, Foust revealed his identity to the fans at the Brickyard. Be sure to check out the video showing the stunt that many of us have done before, only with Hot Wheels toys and on a much smaller orange track.
