A BMW M5 V10 in a Subaru Impreza WRX? Why not.

Ever wondered what happens when you drop a BMW M5's V10 into a 1996 Subaru Impreza? This video is the answer. The owner of this Impreza WRX has recently completed this project and is now giving his new toy a proper shakedown. Apparently, the Impreza isn't even developing full power yet, but it's only a matter of time until the owner gets the small issues sorted out. The previous generation E60 M5 had a 5.0-liter V10 with 500hp and 380lb-ft of torque, which now lies inside the Impreza.

The latest M5 is powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 with 560hp and 502lb-ft of torque. Just the thought of that V10 power now in an Impreza just makes our day.
