Video: The Scion FR-S Engine Start-Up and Drifting at Sodegaura

Drifting

Judging by the smile on the driver’s face, the Scion FR-S looks like one of the most fun production cars to take on the track.

Do you have Scion FR-S envy? According to the look of sheer glee and jubilation on the face of Formula D driver Ken Gushi, you can tell that his hot laps on the Sodegaura Forest Raceway in Chiba, Japan, were fast and fun.

This Scion FR-S was shot during a Cars and Coffee event in Irvine, California. A pretty good size crowd was around the FR-S all morning as event-goers enjoyed checking out the Greddy-tuned automobile. You can also see some good shots of its 2.0-liter 4-cylinder boxer engine (from Subaru) complete with D-4S direct-injection technology.
