Video: Volkswagen Amorak Used For Demolish Job

Volkswagen has just released a video showing its new truck, the Amorak, demonstrating its ability to take down a massive 220-foot tall smoke stack. The video was shot in the UK where the Amorak is currently on sale. It's powered by a 2.0-liter turbo diesel with 160 hp and each of the four Amoraks shown in the video had a 656-foot rope from its bumper attached to the top of the chimney stack.

While VW may not be the automaker one thinks of when looking to buy a pickup, it will be interesting to see if they intend to eventually sell it stateside. For now, it's sold in Europe, South America, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, and Australia. Be sure to check out the demolition video below.
