With "Furious 7" only days away from its official premiere, fans of the franchise are more eager than ever to see the latest installment. Most notably, it'll be the final film appearance of star Paul Walker. Roughly 85 percent of his scenes had been filmed when that tragic car crash occurred November 30, 2013. In order to complete filming, the script was redone in various parts and Walker's two brothers were used as stand-ins. But will the film be any good?

N/A

Vin Diesel certainly believes so. In a recent interview with Variety, Diesel flat out stated that "Universal is going to have the biggest movie in history with this movie." OK, that's entirely possible, but then he added: "It will probably win best picture at the Oscars, unless the Oscars don't want to be relevant ever. This will win best picture. There is nothing that will ever come close to the power of this thing." A couple things here. For starters, the Fast and Furious franchise never has been and never will be Best Picture-winning material. And second, has Vin Diesel gone completely insane? Best Picture?! We've only seen the trailer and, yes, it looked really cool. But even we, car chases-explosions-girls in bikinis-loving gearheads don't even think that.
