Viper Faces an Uncertain Future

As Chrysler navigates its way out of some dire financial conditions, the future of the iconic Dodge Viper is in doubt. After the 2010 model year, Chrysler executives have not fully confirmed whether the car will be redesigned and updated. More discouragingly, they haven't given a clear answer whether there's a future for Viper in the Dodge lineup. Just in case there is not an upcoming Viper, Dodge is currently releasing a special addition of the current generation.

The Viper 1:33 ACR Edition is meant to be a "just-in-case" Viper. If Chrysler does decide to discontinue the car, it will go out in amazing muscular style.
