Aftermarket specialist JE Design recently introduced their latest tuning package for the VW Beetle, made up of a series of style and performance enhancements. First up, the chassis has been customized by installing suspension springs, a spring kit and lowering the car by around 35mm. To complement the Beetle's new stance, 19-inch multi-spoke alloys have been fitted available in four different finishes: black matte spokes with silver rims, graphite matte silver spokes with matte silver rims, shadow silver, and black shiny spokes with shiny silver rims (pictured).

Prices for the complete wheel set start at 2,810 Euros, while high quality aerodynamic components made up of a rear apron insert, diffuser and centered air duct are available for 476 Euros. A 90mm quad stainless-steel exhaust comes in at 952 Euros. Performance enhancements have been reserved for the VW Beetle Turbo, which has the Golf GTI's 2.0-liter TFSI engine under the hood. A reworked ECU, priced at 1,280 Euros, increases power from 200hp and 207lb-ft of torque to 240hp and 229lb-ft, resulting in a quicker 0-60mph time of 6.9 seconds, down from 7.5 and a new top speed of 143mph, up from 139.
