Volkswagen will be using Amazon's e-Commerce system, appropriately titled Vehicle Pre-Order Program, to launch their latest limited edition model. Volkswagen announced that the 2012 Black Turbo Launch Edition Beetle will be the first car to be available through the new Vehicle Pre-Order Program. The Black Turbo will feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 giving an output of a cool 200hp and 207 lb-ft of torque mated to a dual-clutch six-speed transmission, which is basically a 2.0-liter TSI model.

On the outside, you'll find larger brakes with red calipers and 18-inch wheels. It comes fully equipped with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity and will feature an extra glove box above the normal one. The changes offered, resembles what one would find in a modern-day Land Rover, assuming Project Kahn does not add any touches to it. You can go onto Volkswagen's Pre-Order site and simply enter your zip code then select a dealer and you are ready to go, so to speak. You will also need a deposit of $495, which is refundable.

The production of the Black Turbo Beetle will be limited to only 600 units. Pricing is set at $24,950.
