Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet by Caractere

Caractere's VW Golf Cabrio looks great and is one of the Belgium tuner's finest works.

We have just caught some photos circling the net of the new Caractere Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet. Caractere, the tuning house from Belgium that specializes in Audi and Volkswagen models. They have just now released their first aftermarket program for the VW Golf and it certainly doesn't disappoint. The guys from Belgium have revamped the front-end of the Golf Cabrio, giving it a smooth and sleek appearance. A new front grille finished in black with a red trim gives the car some added flair.

The front and rear bumpers feature a redesign while the latter is modified with a diffuser and exhaust pipes. It sits on a set of aluminum CW1 wheels. No pricing information has been released yet, but we think the overall package looks great. Sad to say, but it's a shame that VW hasn't made the Gold cabrio available to U.S. buyers. They have to settle for the next closest thing: the Eos.
