Volkswagen Has Finally Made The Golf R A Lot More Fun For Hard Driving

Review

For the price, it damn well should be.

There have been countless times with plenty of cars where an overly enthusiastic traction or stability control system has cut in and ruined everything just as it was starting to get fun. This was always an issue with the Volkswagen Golf R, which was plenty quick in a straight line, but severely hampered in the turns by electronic nannies. As you will see in the following video, this problem has been dealt with for the 2015 model.

The system is not only less intrusive, but it can also be disabled entirely, which is even better.
