The 2010 Volkswagen Routan is the product of a VW-Chrysler team-up. It's one of the few vehicles that's sourced directly from one company and sold by another. The Routan is a VW, but one that's heavily based on the Chrysler minivans. The Routan comes in four trims: S base, SE, SEL, and SEL Premium. All models seat seven in three rows, making it ideal if you've got a lot of passengers to take around.
For a minivan, the Routan is a good performer with decent power and handling. The exterior borrows elements from Chrysler minivans, but adds some of its own personal flavor, like power sliding doors, and power rear liftgate. The interior resembles the interior textures found in a Passat, but there is a give-and-take between Chrysler's design and VW's quality materials.
