Unless you were living under a rock last year, you probably heard of the sensation known as "Linsanity". The hoopla surrounded Asian-American basketball sensation Jeremy Lin, who signed with the New York Knicks for big bucks before moving to the Houston Rockets for even more. But like any star baller, Lin stands to make much more off of endorsement deals. Aside from the usual crop of sportswear companies, several NBA stars shill for automakers. Think Kobe Bryant and Smart, Blake Griffin with Kia, and Dwayne Wade for Lincoln.

Lin, meanwhile, has been helping Volvo market its vehicles in China, but has just completed his first commercial for the US market. The 30-second spot, called "The Unexpected Ones", highlights Lin's rise from obscurity to super-stardom, airing during such popular programs as ESPN Sports Center, Dancing with the Stars and Law & Order SVU.

Along with the commercial, in which Lin drives a red XC60 R-Design, the Swedish automaker has also released a behind-the-scenes making-of video. You know, just in case the star point guard hadn't already proven his ability to drive to the hoop.
