Vorsteiner Previews Porsche 911 V-GT

Tuning / 6 Comments

The US tuning firm is planning to release a V-GT program for the new 2012 Porsche 911.

The aftermarket specialist's latest tuning package for the new Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S is in the works, and thanks to Team Speed we have Vorsteiner's first teaser image that shows a rendering of how they perceive the car to look once they give it a good going over. A list of proposed aerodynamic enhancements all made from carbon-fiber pre-preg autoclave has also been provided, which include a front add-on spoiler with integrated brake duct collectors, and a front GT replaceable center splitter for additional downforce.

Also included are side skirt panels with an integrated carbon-fiber blade extension element, and a lightweight re-sculpted front hood. At the rear they propose fitting an add-on diffuser with integrated aero fins, an add-on ducktail wing spoiler element, and a stainless & titanium sport exhaust system. A lightweight replacement carbon-fiber roof panel and 20- & 21-inch forged aluminum alloys complete the project. More details including the price should be revealed in the coming weeks.
