VW Golf VII Variant Spied

Spy Shots

Check out the first images of the upcoming 2014 Volkswagen Golf Variant/Estate/Wagon.

Our spy photographers have just sent us these snaps of a wagon version of the new VW Golf. Volkswagen is currently working on extending the Golf Mk VII family, and these images of the first test prototype show that the station wagon is next on the list. Called the Golf Variant in certain markets, the wagon will be based on the redesigned hatchback, sharing its platform, drivetrain and styling cues, and will reportedly accommodate an extra 120 liters of luggage space in its larger boot, and still more on the roof rack.
