Arguably one of the best models in the entire Volkswagen lineup, the Polo hatchback has received a minor styling refresh for model year 2015. Set to have its official debut at Geneva in March, the Polo still won't be sold in the US, but in its European home market it'll be receiving some new features and engines. All Polos will come equipped with new standard tech such as an Automatic Post-Collision Braking System as well as an infotainment touchscreen system.

Under the hood, the Polo is receiving a new range of EU6-compliant engines that improve fuel efficiency by up to 21 percent over their predecessors. Those new engines include three- and four-cylinder gasoline units, along with two 1.0-liter and two 1.2-liter TSI four pots. The familiar 1.4 TSI engine returns with a power bump. In the UK, the diesel-powered BlueMotion is actually being replaced by a new gasoline turbocharged 1.0-liter three pot. Two new three-cylinder 1.4-liter TDI diesels are also on offer. The 2015 Polo also has restyled front/rear bumpers and grille. LEDs are optional and there are five new alloy wheel designs. Sales are set to begin this summer.
