VW Refreshing Touareg

Spy Shots

The German carmaker’s flagship model is being readied for a mid-cycle facelift.

With its fourth birthday less than a year away it’s time for the second-gen Volkswagen Touareg to enjoy a mid-cycle refresh. These spy shots reveal the Wolfsburg-based carmaker is hard at work putting the rugged SUV through some high-altitude testing in the Alps. From the position of the camo it’s clear that front and rear fasciae will be updated with new bumpers, a revised grille and fresh light graphics, while we expect improvements to be made to the interior, infotainment and powerplants.
