Wait, Jay Leno Just Compared The New Mustang GT350R To A Ferrari?!

Yeah, the new Shelby is THAT good!

It doesn't matter how special a car is: Jay Leno can always get hold of one to drive. On the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage, the Denim Chin got to look at the new Ford Mustang GT350R. Leno also gets to speak to Ford Performance Chief Engineer Jamal Hameedi about the latest Shelby Mustang. How did Leno like the car? Well, he said he was one of the first people to write Ford a check for one. Leno fell in love with the 5.2-liter flat-plane-crank V8 codenamed "Voodoo." So much in fact, that Leno actually says that this car is a good benchmark for a Ferrari.

While the power from the naturally aspirated V8 is "only" 526 horsepower, the GT350R is track-oriented and delivers an amazing driving experience. Leno loves his so much that he says he swapped in more comfortable seats so that he can drive it all the time!
