Walkinshaw Supercharges Commodore to 750 HP

Melbourne, Australia-based Walkinshaw Performance has just unveiled its most potent package ever, with the release of a supercharger upgrade kit for the Holden Commodore lineup. Limited to 50 units, the “Racing Edition” is compatible with both VF and VE Commodore families including sedans, wagons and trucks. Modifications include an Eaton Twin Vortice 2300 supercharger, water-to-air intercooler, high-flow injectors, ceramic headers, 12-inch intake runners and a cat-back exhaust.

As a result, the 6.0-liter engine is boosted to 680 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, and the 6.2-liter V8 dialed up to a monstrous 748 hp and 723 lb-ft. The Racing Edition package is set to go on sale next month priced at $24,490 AUD.
