Earlier this year, Land Rover revealed the swanky Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition, and now the limited-edition luxury SUV has made its North American Debut at the 2019 New York Auto Show.

Developed by Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations, the 2020 Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition is the most powerful and most luxurious Velar the automaker has ever produced. It's also the third model Range Rover to get the coveted SVAutobiography nameplate, following the introduction of the Range Rover SVAutobiography in 2015 and Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic in 2017.

Available for one year only, the new Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition packs a supercharged 5.0-liter gasoline V8 engine producing 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 4.3 seconds before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 170 mph. That's impressive performance for an SUV that weighs around 4,000 pounds. The Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography rides on standard lightweight 21-inch forged wheels surrounding uprated, high-performance 15.6 inch SV brakes for increased stopping power.

Inside, the luxurious cabin features double-stitched, perforated and quilted Windsor leather exclusive to the SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition. Customers can choose from four color combinations (Ebony, Cirrus, Vintage Tan and Pimento). Other luxury interior features include 20-way adjustable heated and cooled performance front seats with memory and massage functions as standard. US pricing still hasn't been announced, but, the Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition starts at £86,120 ($112,100) in the UK.

Jaguar Land Rover is also displaying the new second-generation Range Rover Evoque at the 2019 New York Auto Show, marking its second US auto show appearance. The new compact luxury SUV features an all-new design language, advanced driver assistance technologies, a new hybrid-electric powertrain option and groundbreaking off-road technologies. Other vehicles from Jaguar Land Rover's current line-up on display at the Big Apple include the 2020 Jaguar XE sports sedan, 2019 Jaguar XJ50 limited-edition 50th-anniversary luxury sedan and 2020 F-Type sports car.
