It's that time of the year when automakers are anxious to push out the door what remains of its 2019 model year stock. The 2020 models will shortly be arriving and, put simply, more space is needed. This is excellent news for anyone currently in the market for a new vehicle and Chevrolet is making it especially easy to buy a new Colorado right now, for example. Despite the fact that Colorado sales increased by an impressive 16 percent in the first quarter of this year, a new sales record for the truck, the bow-tie brand is now offering discounts for select 2019 (and even some remaining 2018s) Colorado models for this month.

Best of all, these discounts also apply for the off-road-focused Colorado ZR2. There are a few exceptions, like always. We'll get to that in a moment. The best deal for the month of June is a 10 percent discount off MSRP for all Colorado models except the base.

That means a Colorado ZR2 with an MSRP of $43,995 will now cost $39,996 thanks to following formula: $2,640 purchase cash + $1,759 price reduction below MSRP = $4,399 total cash discount. However, this 10 percent discount is also only for current GM owners. Something to bear in mind. Fortunately, Chevy is also offering $1,000 customer cash on any 2019 Colorado, once again excluding the base model.

For those interested in saving even more, there's a finance offer of $1,500 in customer cash, or $1,500 cash plus 0 percent interest for 72 months for 2018 Colorados (sorry, still not for the base model). In case anyone needs a reminder, the Colorado trims are as follows: Base, WT, LT, Z71, ZR2.

Additional requirements in order to receive any of these discounts include taking delivery by July 1, and the offers are not available with special finance, lease, and a few other offers. But if you're anxious to get behind the wheel and do some serious off-roading in one very capable mid-size pickup truck, the Colorado (tip: go for the ZR2) is a solid choice.
