As a child, Peter Giacobbi watched Juan Manuel Fangio and Phil HIll tempt fate by pushing the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa to its limits. Giacobbi didn't have millions lying around but still wanted to experience the same feeling of speed as his childhood idols. So he did what any enthusiast would do and built his own Ferrari. While his hand-built 250 Testa Rossa is not 100-percent authentic, his labor of love is one of the most beautiful things to ever come out of someone's garage.

Giacobbi is no stranger to building exotic sports cars as he was DeLorean's director of engineering for a number of years. Check out Giacobbi's story and his remarkable project to get a warm, fuzzy feeling inside.
