The Challenger Hellcat is many things. A champion of running in straight lines and a beastly burnout machine are just two of them. However, can you really claim to be a burnout badass if you've never smoked your tires so hard that your brakes caught fire? No you cannot. Fortunately the gentleman in this video doesn't have to worry about that. He was participating in the 1st Annual MSD Dust Up's burnout competition when his brakes caught fire about a minute into his performance.

Despite the fact that the brakes and tires were destroyed, the Challenger Hellcat only came in second. Does the whole damn car have to blow to win first?
