Lamborghinis don't have the best track record when it comes to accidents lately. We recently saw the remains of a Huracan involved in a supercar smash-up with a Ferrari 458 in Vancouver. Then there was the idiotic student who wrecked a Lamborghini Aventador SV in a London street race. And of course not forgetting the senseless, deliberate destruction of a Lamborghini Murcielago in Taiwan. This latest incident captured by a passer-by in Poland shows yet another Aventador get banged up in a traffic accident.

The video shows the Italian supercar get hit by another car at an intersection, but it's difficult to tell who was to blame. Luckily, there were no injuries and the impact of the collision wasn't very severe as both vehicles weren't travelling at high speed – the Aventador even managed to come to a complete stop, but it was too late to avoid getting struck by the passing car.

Despite the low speed of the crash, the gold Avendator sustained some hefty damage to the right front-end, tarnishing its exquisite looks. Judging from the photos of the accident, it will probably need a new front bumper, right fender, right headlight, a hood and other repairs. Fortunately, this means its mid-mounted, 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine capable of 690 horsepower shouldn't be affected, but the extensive repair bill probably isn't the best start to the new year this Lambo owner could have hoped for.
