15:29:36. That's the time Al and Betty Perry's pickup truck was struck by lightning while driving down Highway 14, near Tofield in central Alberta, Canada. A nearby surveillance camera captured the act of God, which Al said "sounded like a sonic boom" as the bolt appeared to engulf the Chevy pickup in a fireball. Airbags deployed, part of the car's body melted and the electrical systems failed, making escape from the pickup almost impossible.

Thankfully, a local police officer was passing by and quickly helped the couple to escape, who survived without injury and celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary a few days later.
