Emergency landings are always harrowing stuff and when you have no other option but to land on a crowded highway it is, as Sir Alex Ferguson would say, "squeaky bum time." If you have ever been bored cruising down a two-lane highway in the country side (who hasn't in Southwest Ohio?), you know it is easy to get a bit distracted and let your thoughts wander. It's a good thing this driver was paying close attention to the road, as out of the blue the private aircraft appeared out of nowhere.

This video clip comes from Russia (where else?) and gives a first-hand view of what it would look like if a plane needed to make an emergency landing right in front of you on the highway. On a side note, its fortunate no-one was reported hurt or injured in the landing.
