Watch a Porsche 918 Spyder and 911 Turbo Duke it Out

Nurburgring

It's like a Blitzkrieg only without tanks, infantry formations and air support.

They are two of the fastest and most powerful Porsches the automaker has ever built. You really can’t go wrong with either one, but we’re sure each has its own group of devoted fans. But here they are together fighting each other for supremacy on the Nurburgring. The Porsche 918 Spyder and the 911 Turbo are both absolutely brilliant machines, true benchmarks in their respective segments.

And yet based on what we can see in this video (the 918 in Martini décor is particularly nice), neither one is really being driven to its absolute limits. The drivers are definitely going at it hard, but it’d be a true spectacle to see an all-out Blitzkrieg.
