Now that the brand new 2016 Acura NSX has arrived, we thought it'd be fun to take a look back at the original and the man/icon who helped make it happen. Ayrton Senna's story is both heroic and tragic, but he made a lasting mark on the world forever through his generosity and God-like driving skills and instincts. Truly one of a kind. Before his untimely death at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, Senna was involved in the development of the original NSX.

So as we salivate over the new one, it's a better time than ever to watch Senna himself going for a test drive in the 1992 NSX R around Suzuka. He's not even wearing proper driving shoes. A pair of leather loafers with white socks suited him just fine. His heel-and-toe technique is perfection.
