Since Paddy McGuiness and Freddie Flintoff joined Top Gear, the popular motoring show has been going from strength to strength. Adding a comedian and a cricket player to a car show was always going to be a gamble, but it's paid off.

After Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May left, the first attempt to reboot the show got off to a false start when Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc fronted the show, but Top Gear has found its mojo again. Entertaining challenges featuring McGuiness and Flintoff provide a perfect balance to the informative car-focused content with Chris Harris aimed at hardcore gearheads.

Judging from the new trailer for season 30, this winning formula isn't going to change any time soon. In the trailer, we get to see Chris Harris take the Ferrari Roma for a spin. As always, he makes sliding sideways in a supercar look easy. Speaking of supercars, the Lamborghini Sian will also get put through its paces in the new season.

Not every car reviewed in season 30 will cost six or seven figures, however, because the Toyota Yaris GR hot hatch and the new Land Rover Defender also make an appearance.

There will also be a James Bond-inspired film involving McGuiness behind the wheel of an Aston Martin DB5 and half of a Renault 11 that pays homage to the stunt in 'A View to a Kill.' No doubt this film was originally going to coincide with the theatrical release of 'No Time to Die' in March before the film got delayed again until October.

In another crazy challenge, Flintoff gets dragged down a runway by an Ariel Nomad. We don't know when Top Gear season 30 will air yet, but it should be in a few weeks. In the UK, Top Gear season 30 will be shown on BBC One before airing in the US on BBC America at a later date.
