To the 86th floor of the Empire State, that is.
A couple of weeks ago, we told you about Ford's plan to present its 2015 Mustang on top of the Empire State Building in New York, as part of the New York Auto Show and the Mustang's 50th birthday celebration. This showcase recreates a similar presentation that the company did for the 1964 Mustang 50 years ago. In both cases, the cars were too big to fit into the buildings elevators, meaning they had to be chopped into three pieces by Michigan's DST Industries.
