This new streaming service gives you access to over 1,000 hours of content.
With travel restrictions easing, many of us are looking forward to taking a long-overdue vacation. If you have kids, keeping them occupied during a long journey can be challenging. However, if you own a Honda or Acura, this new in-car entertainment service will keep them entertained for hours, and make your summer road trip way more relaxing.
American Honda is teaming up with the AT&T to launch a new unlimited in-car Wi-Fi service that includes access to the WarnerMedia Ride App. Users can then connect multiple devices to browse, stream and share content from the WarnerMedia library.
The WarnerMedia Ride app provides over 1,000 hours of live and on-demand entertainment, with TV shows and movies from Cartoon Network, CNN, HBO Max, TBS, TNT and TruTV. So whether you want to watch animation, entertainment, news, or sports, you'll be covered.
"Wireless connectivity and connected car services continue to be key features for customers and our long-standing relationship with AT&T continues to be one way we deliver exciting new content to Honda and Acura owners," said Art St. Cyr, vice president of North American Auto Strategy for American Honda. "Honda will continue working to enhance the in-car experience, including the capabilities of the AT&T network and access to top content with WarnerMedia Ride."
As part of a recent update, the new WarnerMedia Ride app lets owners set up multiple profiles and personalize it with avatars from the WarnerMedia library. Adults can also restrict access to their profiles with an access code.
Available to download on the App Store and Google Play for all US unlimited data plan subscribers, the streaming service is available for all 2021 Acura TLX, 2022 Acura MDX, and 2019-present Acura RDX trims. Compatible Honda models include the 2018-present Honda Accord Touring, 2018-present Odyssey Touring and Elite, 2019-present Insight Touring, 2019-present Passport Touring and Elite, and 2019-present Pilot Touring, Elite, and Black Edition.
