You could go out and buy a perfectly awesome new Ford F-150 Raptor and still be the neighborhood badass. But eventually, someone else will take notice of your purchase and do the same. Congratulations, you've started a trend of sorts, but that wasn't the point. You wanted a serious off-road pickup truck because that's where your passion lies. Plus, you wanted to stand out. There's nothing wrong with that. So what can be done given there's another Raptor just down the street and likely more will arrive soon?

Send your truck down to Hennessey Performance in Texas and have it turned it into a VelociRaptor 600. Output is increased to 600 horsepower and 622 lb-ft of torque, up from 450 hp and 510 lb-ft.

You'll blast from 0-60 mph in a mere 4.2 seconds and complete the quarter-mile in just 12.9 seconds at 110 mph. Your neighbors will be jealous and envious all over again. Sure, doing something like this isn't exactly cheap, but we've never heard of anyone having any regrets. And now Hennessey has released this cool video showing a time-lapse build of a stock Raptor into a VelociRaptor 600 in less than two minutes or so.

The truck shown here is also equipped with the optional new Stage 2 Off-Road Package. The current Stage 1 Package already includes new features like a VelociRaptor front bumper with 5 LED lights, a unique rear bumper, 20-inch Hennessey 10-spoke wheels wearing 35-inch Toyo Off-road rubber, front suspension leveling kit, and plenty of exterior and interior emblems.

Details of the Stage 2 kit have yet to be posted on Hennessey's official website, but judging by the Stage 1 kit, the new upgrades are going to be mighty impressive. Chances are your fellow F-150 Raptor owning neighbors won't go all the way and pay for the VelociRaptor 600 upgrades. In that case, you once again have the most badass truck on the block. And there's the VelociRaptor 6x6 for the truly brave.
