Keanu Reeves' comeback in John Wick was one of the best surprise action flicks of 2014. In the film, Reeves played a retired hitman who goes on a merciless killing spree after a Russian gang killed his dog and stole his most prized possession: a 1969 Ford Mustang. Despite being such a central plot point, the Mustang didn't see a lot of action in the film since it spent most of the time impounded by the gang. Fortunately, the Mustang plays a more prominent role in John Wick Chapter 2, making it one of our most anticipated car movies of the year.

Recently released in theaters, a new extended clip has emerged showing the Mustang getting a punishing workout in the action sequel. John Wick Chapter 2 starts right where the original left off, with the ruthless assassin retrieving his prized possession from a taxi warehouse.

If you've seen the original, you'll know that much mayhem will ensue. We get to see Wick use the Mustang's heft as a weapon to take out assassins, smashing into cars, taking out baddies on bikes, and simply mowing them down. Sadly, it doesn't look like the Mustang survives the scene in one piece, as the sequence practically devolves into a destructive demolition derby. The elaborate sequence took three months to shoot and Keanu Reeves did most of the impressive stunt driving on display, from powerslides and jumps, to reverse 180s.
