All Star events are fun to watch in any sport. Unlike in most major sports where athletes participate in festivities of honor as a result of being chosen by fans and colleagues alike, mud truck racers get down and dirty with the best in the business because their is cold hard cash on the line, $5,000 dollars for one race, to be exact. The Mud Truck Madness event took place this week in Louisiana and with payouts for racers that place first to fifth, it was enough to attract 13 participants.

A no points race that will not affect the season's standings, this evening with the stars is more about, camaraderie, bragging rights and who will be paying for drinks later on at the bar.
