Spied testing in sub-zero Sweden.
Hyundai is currently putting the next-generation Genesis Coupe through its paces in snowy Sweden, and these spy shots show the new model – note the cut outs in the front and rear fenders – will get an extended wheelbase. With the wheels moved out to the corners, passengers are going to have plenty of room to stretch out. In order to better compete with the likes of the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro in the US, the Coupe will borrow the V8 from the Genesis Sedan.
The new Genesis Coupe will likely also use Hyundai’s HTRAC all-wheel-drive system. Of course, this is just a test mule with an old body riding on the new platform. The next-gen model's styling will be a lot slicker.
