Watch Russians Drive Jeeps On Ice And Try Not To Laugh

4WD typically doesn't work well on ice.

From what we can tell with our limited knowledge of the Russian language (meaning we have none), this group of Russians are apparently trying to get a broken down GAZ-69 off a frozen pond. What’s a GAZ-69 you ask? That we can tell you: it’s a Russian Jeep that was built from 1953 until 1972. Yep, a Communist Jeep. And in this video one of them has to be rescued for whatever reason (likely broke down) by its successor, the UAZ-469.

It takes a few minutes and it’s entertaining to watch just how little progress these guys make at first. Not even four-wheel-drive works great on ice.
