Excavated and recovered in tragic condition.
Ever since the hungry sinkhole opened up under the Corvette Museum in Kentucky this February, we've been keeping an eye on the rescue operations of the eight sunken classic Chevys. But this video, released yesterday by the hardworking crews, shows that as the operation digs deeper, the rescued cars are coming out in worse and worse conditions. Like all the other cars underground, it will be on display at the museum before heading out for a full restoration by GM.
