Supercar makes splash landing.
Even in a straight line, we can't imagine it's easy to control a Lamborghini Gallardo tuned to deliver 2,000 horsepower. Seen here attempting to beat its new personal half-mile record, the twin-turbo Bull lines up on the drag strip without a drop of water in sight. Everything seems to be going fine until the back end comes out, spinning the supercar off the track and into – yep – a lake-sized puddle. Where the hell did that come from?
You would be right in thinking running quarter- and half-mile sprints next to water is a dumb idea, but this water feature appears to be something that emerged after an overnight deluge. Thankfully no harm was done to the driver and hopefully the 5.2-liter V10 also came away unharmed.
