Watch This C4 Corvette Get Cooked Like It's A Labor Day Weekend BBQ

Only it's in Australia, and it is actually Labor Day Weekend.

This one is painful, just a fair warning to you. According to Australian news sources, this 1985 C4 Corvette suffered a premature death while it was being taken for a test drive. Reports claim that a mechanic took it out for a spin when the engine suddenly caught on fire for a still unknown reason. The guy managed to get out before the car was completely engulfed in flames. It took firefighters only 10 minutes to extinguish the blaze but that was more than enough time to destroy the C4.

Fortunately no one was hurt, and the '85 Vette was valued at $15,000 AUD, which is approximately $10,500 USD. Guess this is as good a time as any so...Happy Labor Day Weekend to all of our American readers. Enjoy the BBQs and plenty of college football.
